I created this Mind Map using Several sources. Please click on the picture to link to the map. I believe this Map and the videos links on it would be helpful for understanding how to use children's literature to teach coping skills. There are also links to helpful articles and book recommendations for children. The key information on this Mind Map is about choosing children's literature and how to evaluate it. There are several factors to consider when choosing the book you will use. Choosing literature that will lead to meaningful discussions will aid in the process of helping children cope with difficult experiences.
