I included these quotes because they are especially meaningful to me. Throughout my research, I thought about the healing power of books and the affect reading had on me when I was a child. Sometimes children need an escape from reality, other times they need to see themselves in books to help make sense of the world. The pictures below contain messages about reading as well as empowering messages and quotes. I chose these quotes in response to the quote above. Reading can play a positive role in your life and/or your child's life.
